Nadim Najjar is the Managing Director of London Stock Exchange Group, formerly the Financial & Risk business of Thomson Reuters, in the Middle East & Africa (MEA). Nadim has been managing the business in the region since December 2013 and has been on the cutting edge of the information industry for more than three decades. With a programming and computer engineering background, he was responsible for the technology development of new products and setting the architectural direction for Reuters platforms in the Levant region during the 90s. This included introducing the first of its kind two-way satellite communication system in Istanbul, Athens, and Beirut.
Nadim’s previous roles across Thomson Reuters including serving as Managing Director for business units across Africa, the Middle East and Russia/CIS, as well as serving as Global Head of Business Planning & Operations (Rapidly Developing Economies).
